Family and Guardian mode requires children under 13 to gain parental approval and control over their app and account. Additionally, they are unable to directly contact emergency help like 911, and can only utilize the emergency contacts feature. Parents can use the app to geofence areas like school and home to get notifications when children arrive and depart.

While Sorora was designed with women’s safety in mind, it can be used by anyone, teens, seniors, and all individuals who value personal safety.
When pressed, the button sends your location and a pre-set message to your chosen emergency contacts and with 2 clicks, it contacts your nearest emergency services.
Users are given full control over their location sharing, having the option to always share, never, or only when the SOS is clicked.
Press and hold the SOS button in the app or on your connected device for [X seconds]. Your chosen contacts will immediately receive your location and alert.
Only five selected emergency contacts (and emergency services, if enabled) will be notified.
Some features require internet, but if offline, Sorora will try to send alerts via SMS or store them until you reconnect.
Yes. Tap Cancel Alert within 10 seconds of activation to stop the alert from sending. If already sent, notify your contacts it was a false alarm.
